MIFA ACADEMY

In 2010 Soccerino launched the Associated MIFA Academy, the aim of MIFA Academy was to provide all players with the opportunity to train within a top football environment. The MIFA Academy’s objective was to continue to develop home grown talent capable of playing in the first team. The MIFA Academy was a registered member of the Eastern Gauteng Football Association. The MIFA Academy was inaugurated in 2010 and spearheaded the CANTERA TOUR.

CANTERA PROGRAMME

Since 2014 Soccerino have employed a Cantera Policy. The Cantera Programme is a centre of sporting excellence for the aspiring young players of tomorrow. The objective of the Cantera Programme is to identify football players with the excellent football skills and assist them in achieving the football ambition while also empowering them with academic enrichment. The Cantera Programme has a proud history of nurturing talent and will maintain its commitment to youth development. The Cantera Programme is committed to advancement of education through sport.

The sole objective of the Cantera Programme is to carve a pool of young sporting into talented, skilful and extraordinary football players. The footballers are trained to meet the international standards. The Cantera Programme is a player development programme and primary stage for player development. Our duty is to identify, scout and develop player for junior national teams. The objective of the Cantera Programme is to provide the national football youth teams with a pool of young footballers trained to match international standards.

The Cantera Programme is an education through-sport programme which aims to train youngsters to improve their football skills through education. The Cantera Programme is committed to deliver education sound and well-groomed football ambassadors. It highlight the importance of football development and developing a professional approach to the game and also encourage footballers to obtain proper education through football. The Cantera Programme is committed to support education and career development of our playing, coaching and administrative staff.

The objective of the Cantera Programme is to identify and develop top football talents in the country and to sell it to the local and international market. The Cantera Programme has the most potential. We recruit young footballers with exceptional football talent and develop them into professional players.

SCOUTING SYSTEM

The Cantera Programme has a scouting system to help bring on new talent. We send scout out to schools, youth teams and club academics, hoping to find the stars of the future, our players are identified and selected through a scouting programme by Scout and Development Coaches and new recruit are invited to train with the team to access whether they match the standards of Soccerino. The Cantera Programme main purpose is to identify promising young footballers and to train and develop them to become outstanding footballers to progress and play in the Soccerino, Premier Soccer League, National Teams and International Clubs. Players selected for the Cantera Programme are part of a long-term strategy and must have an ambition to play at the highest levels of the game both locally and internationally. 

The Cantera Programme primary focus is youth development and we offer young footballers the opportunity to develop their football talent. Our mission is to provide the opportunity for our footballers to become members of a football organization that promotes teamwork, professionalism, good sportsmanship, good citizenship and character, towards becoming positive example for others. We have put together a development programme which will help players fulfil their potential. We call it “CANTERA PROGRAMME”

Soccerino provides all footballers with stimulating, challenging, educational and enjoyable experience whilst being taught the fundamentals skills of the beautiful game of football. Soccerino gives talented footballers a real springboard and gateway to the prospects of a professional career in football. Soccerino will provide you with the opportunity to show Scouts and Coaches from professional clubs that you have the ability to make it as a professional footballer. Our aim is to help you to realize your dreams of becoming professional footballer.
